Arriving in Tokyo

We weren't quite ready for the end of the day when Fuji-Q started closing for the evening.  We thought we still had an hour or two left but they started closing everything early.  We finished out with the rides we could, and then we took a bus to Tokyo.

We stayed in a hotel which was pretty centralized with what we wanted to do for our sojourn in Tokyo.  Our room was pretty small, but it had a bed!  I was so excited about the bed, and even though it wasn't the most comfortable bed, it was a nice change from the futon mats on the floor.

Arriving into Tokyo was definitely like coming into the big city.  It's just like how it is in the movies.  Tall skyscraper buildings all lit up.  It was an impressive sight, especially coming from Hakone and Fuji-Q. 

We stashed our stuff in our hotel room, went in search of dinner, and then crashed for the night in our room.  We had a big day ahead of us in Tokyo the next day.
