For Pioneer Day we had the opportunity to go to the Bees game up in Salt Lake with J's family. When we got there, we found that the Portland Beavers were a no-show. So, instead of the game, we watched a home-run derby, but they still had fireworks afterwards which made up for the lack of a game! It was a lot of fun (except for the heat--it was 100* that day)! The fireworks were amazing--I hate to say they completely outdid Lake Tahoe's show, although the announcer said that the fireworks show was the best in the state!

Awww, what a cute family we make! This was while we were waiting for the fireworks to begin!
