Lake Tahoe

I have been trying to decide how to attack all the pictures and adventures we have been through in the last month. Instead of going chronologically and doing a monster-blog, I am going to add several smaller blog posts that may be out of order. Don't worry, because I will have all the dates and there should be some semblance of order! The picture above was taken as we were waiting for my friend Jaimie on a lookout point on the east side of Lake Tahoe. The top picture is taken just down the street from my dad's house on a walk I took one morning. I do miss it there--it is so beautiful and there is so much to do! Even as long as I have lived in the "city," I am just not a city girl. I miss my mountains and trees and cold swims in the lake...

I have decided to dedicate this post to the day we had at Keva beach. We went to the beach after Dad got off work on July 6th. Zuri had a blast playing in the sand. She enjoyed the water, but not nearly as much as the sand (because she could do mostly what she wanted with the sand). She was pretty tricky too; she would slowly inch herself away from us and get closer to the water. The first picture is a view of Mt. Tallac, which Dad wants to hike when we go back out in August.
Dad dancing in the water. Zuri investigating the sand. Dad playing with Zuri in the water.
