Our last stop of the day was at the fairy pools. We found them! Unfortunately, we should have eaten before we ventured on the hike to the pools, because we were all hungry by the time we got there and it was quite a hike in and out. Nikki, in particular, was hungry, and practically ran the whole way back to the car.

| That is our trail winding its way toward the mountain |

It would have been nice to continue on the trail a little bit further just to see if there were any other hidden gems. Even still, we were able to spend some time by the pools, and although we were not courageous (or stupid?) enough to jump in, it was still very serene and amazing. We watched as other people jumped in and had a blast in the deceptively deep pools. Had it been warmer and earlier in the day, we may have joined them.

| Near the beginning of the hike, there was this small waterfall, and the trail meandered near the stream at times all the way to the fairy pools |

| You'd never know what was coming just ahead |

| I had to wait quite a while before I was able to get a picture of this waterfall/pool without people in it. This one is quite popular for swimming |
 |
| Yep, that guy jumped in from there, and believe it or not, but he was actually much higher than he seems |
 |
| Those guys eventually jumped into this pool as well |
