We were on the search for the fairy pools, but unfortunately, Isle of Skye is not easy to navigate. Our GPS was useless (we found out from some locals when we stopped for directions that GPS doesn't work there), and even with directions, we weren't sure if we were going the right way (the roads were not very well marked at all).
We spotted a tour bus heading in the direction we thought we should be going, so we followed it. Good thing we did, because it led us to Cuith Raing, which was my favorite place in Scotland (arguably the most beautiful place I have seen in the world). I seriously could have spent an entire day (maybe even a week?) there just hiking and enjoying the natural beauty and solitude of the place. It was unbelievable. Gorgeous and serene. Pictures do not even come close to capturing the beauty of the place.
Unfortunately, not far into our hike, my memory card on my camera ran out and my extra memory card was in the car, so I took the majority of pictures on my phone, which is inferior to my camera. *Sigh* The cloud cover caused my phone camera to not pick up the vibrant green of the land, which is such a shame, because Scotland is just so
green, and the camera just doesn't capture it.
When we started hiking, we had no idea the view that was in store for us. We just saw the path and followed it up.
*This post is very photo-intensive

| Can you see the people on the trail? |
 |
| True to Scotland style, there were sheep all over as we hiked. |

| The contrast between cameras... |
 |
| You can really see the contrast in color between the two cameras. The brighter green is more true to life than this one--the color in this is all washed out because of the inferior phone and the cloud cover |

| My foot. I was trying to give an idea of how steep it was, but it didn't really take |
 |
| Nikki photo-bombing again. It got to be a game with us all--and we would always let each other get the shot afterwards if we weren't fast enough beforehand |

| I climbed up higher and was able to capture this amazing picture of our group |
