One of the most underutilized fun things to do is going to the drive-in movies. Although most of them have closed, there is still one in Salt Lake. Shin and Heather came out from California for General Conference weekend and we had a nurse available for Friday night. 
Our babysitter fell through, and we were unable to find another on short notice, so we ended up taking the girls with us. It would have been fine, but River cried through the whole double feature. Yep, two movies, and she cried almost the entire time through both. The Maze Runner and Guardians of the Galaxy. She was fine before the movies, but as soon as the previews came on, she got upset. I'm not sure what triggered her. J took care of River during The Maze Runner, and I took care of her during The Guardians of the Galaxy. Needless to say, I missed the one movie, and J missed the other. It was an exhausting night.Zuri did well, though, and fell alseep during the second movie. She loved the experience so much that she kept talking about doing it again.
We brought snacks and drinks and camped out in the back of the car to watch the movies.
