Conference October 2009

General Conference seemed to fly by so fast this time. Before I knew it, the conference was over. We went to temple square--as is our tradition--for all four (five for the guys) of the sessions.Zuri  did fairly well; she fell asleep ten minutes before the end of the Saturday morning session, and slept through the whole break. During the afternoon session, she was fussy and we had to go out of the tabernacle. Sunday morning she was a little fussy and spent nearly the entire time in the cry room, but then she fell asleep for the majority of the afternoon session.
The weather was nice for Saturday, just a little chilly. Sunday it rained all but the two hours for our lunch break. Small blessings.
This Conference Dad brought along some of the youth from the ward (starting to become a tradition). Jori, Cassara, Alex, and Christian all came. Sandi (who used to belong to the South Tahoe Ward but moved to St. George not long ago) also came up and they all bunked at our apartment. The girls were upstairs and the guys were downstairs. It was crazy but actually worked out pretty well.
Saturday while the guys were in the Priesthood session, we girls went to the mall and did some shopping! It is crazy how busy the mall is during the Priesthood session--girls time out!

Zuri loved running around temple square. So much space and so many people to watch!

Nap time. I laid her down on the pillow and she slept like this through the two hour break!

Playing with Grandpa!

J and Zuri sleeping just before the Sunday afternoon session.
After Conference was over, we went into the North Visitors Center to get out of the rain and wait for traffic to clear a bit before heading home.
